What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Industrial Mechanic position at Waste Connections?
Atlantic Coast Recyclingis looking for asafetyconsciousLead Industrial Mechanicto join the team at our recycling facility inPassaic, NJ.
Shift: 9:30pm-6:00am
Rate: $27-$32/hr depending on experience
Typical job duties include:
Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, andhydraulic systemson MVR equipment such as conveyors, paper and cardboard screen, ballistic screen, optical screen, balers, and others.
Will power wash heavy equipment during routine preventative maintenance.
Complete required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program.
Reviews and completes repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.
Conductssafetychecks on vehicles and equipment.
Performs services calls for emergency breakdowns that may take place in the MRF.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements -
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Previous experience on Industrial Machinery
