Fountain Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscience Heavy Equipment Operator to join our GROWING team in Fountain, Colorado.

Pay
- $25- $28.00 per hour

- Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor
- Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
- Excavating soil using a excavator
- Maintaining haul roads using a grader
- Hauling soil
- Work in a fast paced, team environment
- Follow safe operating practices
- Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.
- The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
- 2 years of experience preferred.
