Pioneer Recycling Services, a Waste Connections company, is searching for our next All-Star Equipment Operator to join us at our transfer station in Clackamas, OR (16810 SE 120th Ave, Clackamas, OR 97015).
Starting rate of pay is $31.00/hour
Schedule is Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
Shift is 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Safety Sensitive: Yes
Qualified candidates must have Front End Loader & Forklift experience.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Equipment Operators are responsible for running the loader that supports our MRF operations.
- REQUIRES ability to efficiently & safely operate Front End Loader & Forklift. Compactor experience preferred.
- Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is required.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 500-hours of Heavy Equipment Operating experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Heavy Equipment Operating certification from an accredited trade school preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computer skills.
- Pre-employment requirements for this safety sensitive position include drug panel screening & criminal background check.
