Previous waste industry experience is a big plus—but not required. We’re happy to train the right person!
The schedule is Monday–Friday and occasional Saturdays as needed, around 45 hours per week.
The starting pay $28/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience is preferred but not required.
- Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
- Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance.
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.
- Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.
- Work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid environments, as well as fumes and vibrations.
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement
- Clean driving record (please bring a copy of your MVR to the in-person interview)
- Ability to operate 10-, 13-, and 18-speed transmissions (preferred, not required)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Safety-Sensitive – YES (Drug Test Required)
