We’re hiring a dedicated technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicle systems including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate equipment for repair or replacement Align, fit, and assemble components using hand and power tools Inspect and troubleshoot machine centers for defects Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents Repair and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems Test electromechanical assemblies using instruments like voltmeters Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision tools Operate metalworking machines to fabricate parts Train others in installation and maintenance procedures Perform preventive maintenance and repairs Use vehicle computer systems to diagnose issues Conduct safety checks and complete repair documentation Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Preventative maintenance experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks Adaptability to various work environments Welding/fabrication experience is a major plus What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay Stable, year-round work Excellent benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Flexible spending account Long-term disability and life insurance 401(k) retirement plan Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
