Full-Time Hardware Store Associate
Location: Wasko Hardware
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a dependable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to join our hardware store team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, helpful service to customers in all departments
- Assist customers with plumbing, electrical, and general hardware needs
- Operate point-of-sale and basic computer systems
- Receive, stock, and organize inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor
- Load and unload merchandise as needed
- Perform deliveries or pickups when required
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and electrical products
- Punctuality and reliability are a must
- Quick learner with a positive attitude
- Comfortable using computers or willing to learn
- Excellent people skills and communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
