Position Summary
Wasilla Community Church is seeking a part-time Praise and Worship Leader who will:
- Lead worship during Sunday services
- Recruit, train, and disciple a worship team
- Plan music that aligns with Scripture and the teaching of the church
- Collaborate with church leadership to ensure worship supports overall ministry vision
Spiritual & Leadership Expectations
- Growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Biblical character, integrity, and humility
- Agreement with the Statement of Faith of Wasilla Community Church
- Model Christ-like leadership and spiritual maturity for the worship team
- Promote unity, encouragement, and discipleship within the team and congregation
Qualifications
- Experience leading corporate worship in a church setting
- Musical skill in vocals and instruments sufficient to lead and coach others
- Ability to disciple, mentor, and develop a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of how worship supports biblical teaching and church vision
