Planner/Purchaser (Entry-Level)

The Planner/Purchaser is an entry-level role designed for recent

graduates or early-career professionals interested in building a career

in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing. This position supports

purchasing, planning, and inventory control activities to ensure smooth

and efficient production operations.\

Youll gain hands-on experience working with suppliers, managing

inventory, and using ERP systems (GeniusERP) while collaborating with

cross-functional teams. This role provides strong exposure to real-world

supply chain processes and opportunities for growth and development.\

• Requirements**\
• Assist in planning and purchasing materials, components, and supplies
  
  

to support production needs.\

• Create and manage purchase orders based on system recommendations and
  
  

guidance from senior team members.\

• Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and
  
  

delivery schedules.\

• Monitor inventory levels and help identify potential shortages or
  
  

excess stock.\

• Maintain accurate data within the ERP system (GeniusERP) for
  
  

purchasing and inventory activities.\

• Support expediting orders and help resolve delivery or quantity
  
  

issues.\

• Assist with sourcing new suppliers and obtaining quotes.\
• Help track supplier performance and maintain vendor records.\
• Assist with invoice verification to ensure alignment with purchase
  
  

orders and receipts.\

• Support incoming material inspections and documentation processes.\
• Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.\
• Follow established purchasing and inventory control procedures.\
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.\
• Required Skills/Abilities**\
• Basic understanding of supply chain, purchasing, or business
  
  

operations.\

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to
  
  

detail.\

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.\
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a team
  
  

environment.\

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\
• Positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to develop new skills.\
• Education/Experience**\
• Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, operations, or
  
  

a related field.\

• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in supply chain,
  
  

operations, or business is a plus but not required.\

• Physical Requirements**\
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
