Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Clinical Social Worker role based in Ann Arbor, MI. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide direct clinical and school-based social work services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior support. The role includes conducting assessments, developing service plans, and collaborating with educators, administrators, families, and community providers to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs that affect learning. The social worker will participate in multidisciplinary teams, contribute to IEPs and behavior plans, and provide consultation to staff on mental health, trauma-informed practices, and classroom supports. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and district policies, and participating in professional learning to support best practices in school social work.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Social Work practice, including assessment, intervention, and advocacy with children, youth, and families.
- Experience or training in Medical Social Work and coordination of care with healthcare and community providers is beneficial.
- Skills in Case Management, including service coordination, resource referral, and follow-up to support student and family needs.
- Knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Behavioral Health, including counseling, crisis response, and behavior support in school or youth settings.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program and current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent for Michigan) or eligibility for appropriate Michigan licensure.
- Experience working in K–12 school settings or with children and adolescents is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and build trusting relationships with students and families.
- Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong organizational skills, professional documentation practices, and ability to manage a varied caseload.
