Are you a people person who enjoys helping others, building relationships, and finding solutions? Washtenaw Insurance Services – Farm Bureau is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Office Representative to join our team!

In this role, you’ll work primarily with personal lines insurance, helping individuals and families with their auto, home, and other personal insurance needs. You’ll build relationships with clients, assist with their day-to-day insurance needs, and identify opportunities to provide additional coverage and protection.

Whether you have insurance experience or are looking to start a new career, we welcome candidates who are dependable, organized, and eager to learn. We’ll provide the training and support you need to grow in the role.

New to insurance? We’ll help you get started! For candidates hired without an insurance license, we’ll cover the cost of obtaining the required licensing. Already licensed? You may qualify for a higher starting base wage!

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing responsive, personalized service.
• Assist customers with questions about their personal insurance policies, coverage, and options.
• Manage day-to-day account needs, including policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and general service requests.
• Review existing coverage and identify opportunities to recommend additional protection when appropriate.
• Help clients understand their insurance options and make informed coverage decisions.
• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and other channels to ensure their needs are addressed promptly.
• Maintain accurate client records, policy information, and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver a positive client experience and support agency goals.

• An active insurance license is a plus, but unlicensed candidates are encouraged to apply.
