Irrigation Technician

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for qualityplaying conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Duties

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinkler systems, drip lines, and other watering equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues such as leaks or blockages.
• Perform repairs on malfunctioning irrigation components using hand tools and power tools.
• Collaborate with Superintendent to ensure proper watering schedules are established and followed.
• Dig trenches for irrigation lines and install necessary piping as needed.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to golf course maintenance maintenance tasks.
• Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices that contribute to healthy landscapes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in system installation and maintenance tasks.
