Duties
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading
- Help carry heavy or bulky items during deliveries, ensuring safe manual lifting techniques are followed
- Support route drivers in navigating delivery routes efficiently and accurately
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by interacting courteously with recipients and answering basic questions about deliveries
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and load/unload activities
- Collaborate with the driver to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any logistical issues that arise during routes
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience with load & unload procedures, route driving, or courier services is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasksl
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude to support team efforts and customer satisfaction
