Teaching Substitutes

Position: Substitute Instructional Staff

Job Description:

• Substitute Teacher (per diem substitutes both certified and non-certified positions) Responsible for providing instruction and managing classroom environments in the absence of the regular teacher. SED fingerprint clearance will be required prior to hire.
• Substitute Teaching Assistants (per diem substitutes both certified and non-certified positions) Responsible for assisting the classroom teacher with classroom management and instruction. May provide services to a student on a one-to-one basis. The position may include toileting. SED fingerprint clearance will be required prior to hire.

Pay Scale

• Certified Teacher Sub = $143 per diem
• Certified Retired WTA Teacher Sub = $165 per diem
• Non-Certified Teacher Sub = $130 per diem
• Teaching Assistant Sub = $117 per diem
