What are the responsibilities and job description for the ENL Teacher position at Washingtonville Central School District?
POSITION:
- ENL Teacher
- District Wide-anticipated Secondary placement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Appropriate NYS Certification- TESOL, or Alternate Certification Pathways
- Second certification in Secondary content area preferred
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of state assessments NYSITELL and NYSESLAT
- Knowledge and experience administrating state assessments
- Experience with integrated ENL classes
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual Preferred
SALARY:
- Salary will be determined in accordance with the WTA contract based on the individual's prior training and level of experience.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- 4-Year Probationary
