What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Cart Attendant position at Washington Yacht and Country Club?
Cart Attendant Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and basic day to day maintenance of the cart fleet and small odd job tasks. This includes:
- Refilling divot sand shakers, collecting sand for refilling, ensuring tire air pressure, battery hydration, trash removal and cleaning, cooler return, range ball collection by operating a cart-attached ball picker, hand shagging range balls on occasion, range ball bucket retrieval, locker room cleanliness, and other tasks as needed.
Preferred experience, education, and ability:
- Experience with basic golf course operations: 6 months - 1 year preferred, but unnecessary.
- Minimum high school diploma or an equivalent, anything greater is preferred, but unnecessary.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to operate a golf cart.
- Ability to communicate with our members and staff in both conversational and professional manners.
