Position Summary
Position designs and develops complex computer programs and supportive documentation.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops a wide variety of complex computer programs to meet the needs of the department.
- Partners with faculty, clinical teams, researchers, and staff to analyze requirements and turn complex business, statistical, technical, and scientific problems into working solutions.
- Writes, details, and codes program instructions.
- Prepares flow charts and necessary documentation.
- Tests and debugs programs, tracking down and fixing issues as they come up.
- Evaluates and resolves software and hardware problems in the department's computing environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
