Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting, registering and checking in new, return and walk-in patients. Will also check-out and schedule appointments.
- Updates and verifies patient insurance, referrals and demographic information in EPIC as needed.
- Collects copays, self-pay payments and fees for services as needed.
- Balances cash drawer daily.
- Serves as back up for other staff during peak times, vacations and illnesses.
- Maintains familiarity with insurance companies and their requirements.
- Adheres to HIPAA regulations and all Orthopedic/front desk policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned
