The Music Assistant will accompany choirs on piano, assist students in developing musical skills across a variety of choral styles-including jazz-and support rehearsals through small-group and individual instruction. The role also includes assisting with drumline, winter percussion, color guard, and field show design, including music and visual elements. Additional duties include organizing and supervising field trips, concerts, and competitions; assisting with fundraising activities; supporting student progress monitoring; and helping load and manage performance equipment. Experience or interest in using tools such as the Ultimate Drill Book for drill writing is preferred. Evening and weekend work may be required for festivals and competitions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic and comprehensive music program.
