Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid position located in Olympia, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for moving the agency towards Goal #5, Becoming Data Driven by providing critical support to the Data Governance, Analytics, and Privacy (DGAP) program; including direct support to various business functions.
Responsibilities include assisting in data collection and analysis, support to the data and architect (infrastucture) teams, supervising staff, preparing reports, developing analytical models and plans, and ensuring compliance with WSP’s data standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise papers and reports.
- Enthusiasm around building an analytics program from the ground up

- Proficiency in data architecture and analysis, both infrastructure and data useability knowledge

- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and interact professionally diverse stakeholders.
- Experience or familiarity with law enforcement or public safety operations is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or higher education related to law enforcement, public administration, or a related field is an advantage.
