• Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Survey Party Lead (Transportation Engineer 2) to join the Olympic Region Right of Way (ROW) Plans & Design Support Office, providing critical site and cadastral survey support to advance transportation projects. In this role, you will apply standard engineering principles to support ROW acquisitions and the delivery of construction, preservation, and Fish Barrier Removal projects in alignment with agency policies and regulations. This position serves as a survey party lead, directing field activities and supporting the development of technical staff. Work is performed with a high degree of independence under general guidance, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and stewardship. The successful candidate will also contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace that supports WSDOT's mission and long-term resilience goals.
