Custodian 2

Join our team and help keep Lakeland Village clean and safe.

As a Custodian 2, the work you'll do impacts every part of the facility. Clean, working spaces help staff do their jobs and help residents feel safe. Y ou'll clean areas, move furniture, deliver supplies, and fix small equipment like paper towel and toilet paper dispensers. You'll also lead work projects and help team members understand how to complete their tasks.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Positions performed on-site at this work location at least three days per week may also be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay on top of the advertised salary.

Some Of What You Will Do

  • Move furniture in and out of cottages, offices, and other areas as needed.
  • Deliver chemicals and supplies to cottage custodians and custodian closets.
  • Clean and maintain entry mats, fabric furniture, and other stained materials.
  • Repair or replace damaged paper towel and toilet paper dispensers.
  • Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
  • Repair and maintain equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and scrubbers.
  • Complete monthly tasks like water flushing logs and quarterly building inspections.
  • Lead special projects, such as preparing a building for residents to move into.
  • Serve as the point of contact when the Custodian 3 or Custodian 5 is unavailable.

Who should apply?

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Have

  • A valid state driver’s license.
  • Six months to one year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, or general building maintenance work.
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • The physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
