Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray to assist in the diagnosis of patients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare/urgent care environment with exposure to various medical imaging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and ensures their comfort and safety during exams.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
Requirements
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R certification.
- Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- High School diploma
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist of more than 2 years or more is preferred.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of EHR Systems.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
