Position Summary
The role of the Occupational Therapy Assistant reports to the Physical Medicine Manager. This position is responsible for providing patient care u nder the supervision of licensed occupational therapy staff.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapist with patient care, as directed
- Assist with maintaining records and patient schedules
- Maintain department equipment including moving, disinfecting, and partnering with leadership regarding repair needs
- Partner with department leadership regarding maintenance of department supplies
Qualifications
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
- Licensure and Certifications: Arkansas OTA license and CPR, required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferred.
Work Environment: This position will spend up to 80% of the time standing and/or walking whole pushing, pulling, lifting and/or carrying up to 50 lbs and 20% of time sitting while performing work in a standard office environment.
