This role will lead the minor league athletic training department, setting the course for player-care at all affiliates, including Florida and the Dominican Republic. Primary Responsibilities
The projected annual salary range for this contracted position is $130,000 to $150,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organizational requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead with Development leadership on rehab calendars and treatment protocols for players across the organization.
- Coordinate with the Director of Athletic Training, team physicians and sports science department to determine return-to-play protocols.
- Collaborate with Department heads to develop methods to maximize player performance and health.
- Manage and support the Athletic Trainers at every affiliate, including the Latin American Training Coordinator.
- Help create alignment with the Major League medical department, with the potential to create an onboarding and education process for future athletic trainers in the Nationals system.
- Support and guidance as needed with player acquisitions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work across departments.
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop personally and professionally in alignment with organizational values and philosophies.
- National Athletic Trainer’s Association-Board of Certification in good standing
- Significant experience working as a baseball athletic trainer.
- State Licensure in good standing
- CPR/AED certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
