This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Lathe Machinist Programmer, located in Sherman, TX. The CNC Lathe Machinist Programmer will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision components. Key tasks include interpreting technical blueprints, using machining tools to meet specifications, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring quality control during production processes.
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining techniques
- Experience with Milling processes and operation of machinery
- Strong skills in Quality Control to ensure components meet exact specifications
- Knowledge of CNC programming and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is preferred
- Previous experience as a CNC lathe machinist/programmer is a plus
