The Strategic Partnership Program Manager is responsible for cultivating, securing, and managing corporate partnerships to generate revenue and support the mission of the Humane Rescue Alliance and St. Hubert’s. This role will lead fundraising campaigns, oversee high-impact partnerships, and drive donor engagement through strategic initiatives and events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic growth plan for corporate partnerships aligned with HRA’s mission.
- Cultivate new funding relationships while managing existing partners, securing financial support at 5- to 7-figure levels.
- Create compelling proposals and partnership agreements to maximize funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate budgeting, fund allocation, and impact reporting.
- Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising events, including Bark Ball, St. Hubert’s wine event, and the Pet Calendar and Photo Contest.
- Oversee event logistics such as contracts, scheduling, vendor coordination, marketing, and onsite execution.
- Develop partnership marketing materials, website content, and social media assets.
- Ensure consistent and compelling messaging to engage donors, sponsors, and corporate partners.
- Work closely with program and development teams to integrate organizational priorities into campaign strategies.
- Develop innovative strategies to increase participation in fundraising campaigns and maximize donor engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven track record of securing major gifts and corporate sponsorships.
- Experience in planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge), donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Ability to support relationships with senior staff, board members, and funding partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present, inform and motivate individuals and groups about HRA’s mission and the importance of raising funds in support of the mission.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Basic familiarity with computers, MSWord, MS Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
- Significant experience in institutional and corporate fundraising, development, or grant writing, preferably within a nonprofit or higher education setting.
- Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and institutional funding.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, donor databases, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
