Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technoligist and Registered Nurse to join our Vascular Lab team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and vascular care and be proficient in assisting vascular procedures. This role is critical in providing high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The Registered Nurse and Technician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Vascular Lab, ensuring adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols.
- Assist physicians during vascular catheterization procedures, including diagnostic evaluations and interventions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry throughout the procedure, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery.
Skills
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control practices.
- Experience with vascular catheterization procedures and telemetry monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of cardiology principles, anatomy, and physiology.
- Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions and respond appropriately in emergency situations.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
