Position Overview

Washington Financial Bank is seeking a Senior Marketing Associate to support and enhance the Bank’s marketing and public relations efforts. This role plays a vital part in executing marketing initiatives across digital, print, and in‑branch channels; managing content systems; coordinating events and promotions; and supporting community engagement activities. The ideal candidate is an organized, creative marketer with strong project management skills and experience in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the Bank’s website and content management system, coordinating updates with external digital partners
• Review and update website content for accuracy, design, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate marketing events, promotions, seminars, and branch activities, including on‑site setup and volunteer coordination
• Develop and distribute marketing content across multiple channels, including digital displays, email, print, and online platforms
• Lead the development of promotional materials including design, coordination with internal and external partners, editing, printing, and distribution
• Manage promotional merchandise inventory, ordering, and distribution
• Prepare press releases and internal/external communications
• Conduct competitor research and assist with market analysis and reporting
• Support charitable foundation initiatives, including social media content and community events, check presentations, and the Scholarship Fund Program
• Maintain department files for documentation and accuracy
• Manage, research, and respond to requests from departments throughout the company
• Assist with internal engagement, recognition programs, and company culture initiatives
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with Bank policies and applicable regulatory requirements (including CRA, ECOA, and BSA)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing or related roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar design software
• Experience managing digital content or websites using content management systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry
• Marketing operations or project management experience
• Familiarity with marketing analytics, surveys, and reporting tools

Work Environment

• Primary location: Fourth Floor, 190 North Main Street, Washington, PA
• Occasional work at branch locations and community event sites
• Frequent computer and office equipment use; some local travel required
