Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Associate Optometrist at Washington Eye Surgeons in Seattle, WA. The Associate Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, provide post-operative care for cataract procedures, and provide personalized patient education on eye health. The role also involves collaborating with other eye care professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of performing comprehensive eye exams and interpreting diagnostic results
- Experience in managing and diagnosing ocular diseases and co-managing surgical procedures like cataract surgeries
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide patient education and interact with team members
- Active state optometry licensure in Washington and up-to-date with continuing education credits
- Passion for patient care and commitment to delivering high-quality services
- Previous experience in a clinical or surgical setting is a plus
- OD degree from an accredited optometry program
