What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician/ Service truck operator position at Washington Discount Tire/Kalona Tire?
At Williamsburg Tire we are looking for a qualified Tire Technician with preferably 1 year of experience (but are willing to train the right applicant). The job responsibilities would include repairing and replacing all types and sizes of tires ranging from lawnmower, automotive and light truck, semi, and large agricultural tractor tires. We are looking for someone who could work in our shop, and also be available to run the service truck for on site repair/replacements as needed. The applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment, in all the elements that Iowa has to offer, and be able to routinely lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis, and be able to move tires that weigh 100-300 pounds on occasion. The right applicant must be able to be on time, and work a full days work. Hours are 7:30-5:00 M-F and 7:30- 12:00 every other Saturday. Pay is based on experience and is competitive.
