WCRMC is a licensed general acute care facility with 56 hospital beds and a 60-bed Extended Care Facility.
Washington County Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness within our hospital while ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, visitors and employees. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all cleaning activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to requests or concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members in the hospital to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of cleaned areas to ensure quality control.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with hospital/clinical environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
