CRA Administrative Support Specialist

The Chipley Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Washington County Chamber of Commerce seek a part-time (20 hours/week) Administrative Support Specialist to work in the offices located at 672 5th Street in Chipley. Hours will primarily be Monday through Thursday 9 AM – 2 PM with a few exceptions to attend meetings, etc.

Primary responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Provide clerical support to the Executive Director for the activities to the CRA.

Establish and maintain files and reports for grant applications and projects.

Attend CRA Board meetings and keep minutes.

Disseminate correspondence to CRA Board members and governmental agencies.

Communicate with grant applicants to ensure complete and necessary documentation.

Serve as frontline staff for callers and visitors while in the office.

Necessary skills/qualities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Customer service oriented, friendly disposition

Proactive research and problem solving skills

Known for precision and reliability

Position does not require any travel to execute job duties, however, some may be necessary for training.

Compensation commensurate with skills and experience.

Position will remain open until filled by ideal candidate.
