Salary: $16.36/hr.
Pay Grade:4
Workday & Hours: 1 Position schedules
Position : Sunday- Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm
Benefits Eligibility: Eligible (After 60 days of employment, Health - Dental - Vision - Life Insurance - EAP Program - Retirement APERS (Arkansas Public Employees Retirement System)
Vacation Eligibility after 6 months of employment (84 hours up to 3 years)
Sick hours available after 90 days of employment (112 hours up to 3 years)
Twelve Holidays a year Employee Birthday (Thirteen total)
Job Summary:
The Kennel Attendant provides care and basic needs of the animals that are being housed at the Washington County Animal Shelter including cleaning of cages, runs and outside areas, laundry, dishes, and animal enrichment. The Kennel Assistant operated under the supervision of the Kennel Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required, this position is subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing and if a promotional position, candidate must pass an assignment drug test.
