Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Washington, IN, for an Elementary Dual Language - Spanish Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for instructing students in Spanish across various subjects, developing lesson plans, creating engaging curriculum materials, and tailoring teaching strategies to support bilingual education. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other educators, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish and experience in Spanish Teaching
- Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Background in Teaching and providing one-on-one Tutoring
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Work experience in bilingual education is an asset
- State certification for teaching at the appropriate elementary grade level
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
