Asbestos Testing Laboratory-AHERA B.I./PLM/PCM/Mold Analyst needed.

We are a NVLAP accredited asbestos testing Laboratory located in Kirkland, and have expanded our footprint into three other locations; Everett, Tacoma and Vancouver WA. We complete both PCM and PLM analysis and provide field services from small sample projects to full good faith surveys to include testing for asbestos, lead and mold. Our company vision is to continually refine our skills and procedures to maintain the best quality for our staff and our clients, but also to expand to the market to become more accessible. We are looking for the right person to help us get to the next step!

We are looking for our next member of the team to be someone who is experienced in polarized light microscopy (preferably with a PLM and PCM proficient background, and fungal experience) that we can cross-train into the field for AHERA building surveys and air monitoring for mold analysis and surveys. If you are applying and do not have a proficient background in the training we need, we will be here to provide training. Please however do not apply if you do not have a background in microscopy. Your initial base rate and compensation package will be based on the level of experience you have upon hire.

What we would require from you within the first 90 days is:
1. Be able to proficiently analyze both PLM/PCM.
2. Be able to complete full AHERA building inspections (provided you receive your certification within the first month and ample field projects for training).
3. Be able to lift 50lbs.
4. Be able to join our rotating on-call (this is weekly from Monday-Sunday for any calls that come in after 5:30 weekly and full weekend days).
5. Understand all of our systems and processes.
6. Be able to drive to and from projects within our company vehicles.

5. After 1 year be eligible for retirement options where we match dollar for dollar up to 3% of your annual income.

6. After 1 year be eligible for 2 weeks vacation paid. After 5 years be eligible for 3 weeks vacation paid.

7. Profit sharing opportunities dependent on contributions to the company and its success.

8. Your birthday off as a holiday.
