Certified Fire Inspections Technician

Washington Alarm is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Inspection Technicians to perform annual inspections throughout the Puget Sound region.

This is primarily an inspection-focused position with a stable schedule, company vehicle, strong local support, and opportunities for professional growth.

NICET-certified, CFAT-certified, EL06, and experienced inspection technicians are encouraged to apply.

Hourly pay range: $40-50/hour depending on license, certifications, applicable skills and experience.

In this role you will:

· Perform inspection and testing of all types of fire alarm, camera and burg systems

· Assist/coordinate with all forms of life safety system testing

· Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.

· Document all testing findings in accordance with NFPA and local requirements

· Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns

· Discuss deficiencies noted with a customer, explaining the problem and its resolution

Requirements:

· 06 Electrician's License

· 2 plus years experience in fire alarm systems

· High School diploma or equivalent

· NICET II or CFAT II

· FA-1 Fire Alarm Systems (Seattle Certification) preferred

· Knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions such as Windows, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Apple IOS, and Android

· Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
