What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026 Youth Services of Creek County Summer Tutor position at Washington Administrative Center?
Reports to:
District Administration and YSCC Director
Qualifications:
- Teacher Certification in any area
Duties:
- Assist students in completing remediation activities.
- Assist students with organizational skills, study skills, note-taking skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, and build confidence in students.
- Provide a nurturing, supportive, and positive learning environment with high expectations that encourage student responsibility, enhance motivation, clearly communicate classroom routines, and incorporate challenging instructional strategies.
- Collect data on student progress and adjust instruction based on data and planning with the teacher.
- Meets and/or communicates with District Administration and YSCC Director at regular intervals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
$25.00 per hour
Dates:
June and July as needed
Hours:
To be determined by the District and YSCC, a maximum of 3 hours per day.
