Washburn's Boat Yard is seeking an experienced Marine Engine Mechanic for immediate employment. Washburn's is a dealer for Northern Lights and Volvo Penta. Candidates should have prior experience working on marine diesel engines and vessel systems, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ideal candidate will hold a current Volvo Penta certification or equivalent experience. Normal hours are 8-4:30 M-F.

Pay is dependent on experience and training. Top candidates will hold Volvo Penta certifications and have 10 years of marine mechanic experience. Average candidates will have 5 years of marine mechanic experience working on recreational and light commercial vessels.
Responsibilities
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair boat engines and other vessel systems efficiently.
- Utilize hand and power tools to disassemble, troubleshoot, and reassemble engine components.
- Apply mechanic experience to ensure proper functioning and performance of marine engines.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and deliver high-quality service to customers.

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
