Position Summary:
We are hiring a Working Laundromat Manager to join and lead our team. This is not just a supervisory position — it is a working role. You will be responsible for performing regular laundromat attendant duties such as cleaning, folding, customer assistance, and operating equipment, in addition to managing day-to-day tasks like scheduling, inventory tracking, and handling customer issues.
No formal management experience is required, training will be provided — we’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and ready to work with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Working Duties:
- Work regular laundromat shifts, often alone.
- Clean machines, floors, folding areas, and restroom.
- Fold customer drop-off laundry orders with care and accuracy.
- Assist customers with machine questions and general service.
- Open and close the store according to posted hours.
- Management Duties:
- Create and manage weekly employee schedules with assistance
- Track and order supplies (soap, bags, change, etc.).
- Report equipment issues and coordinate basic maintenance.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Support team members and set a good example through work ethic.
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be comfortable working alone and on your feet.
- Basic organization and communication skills.
- Friendly and approachable with a good attitude.
- Previous laundry or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- Some supervisory or management experience is preferred
- English and Spanish-speaking is a preferred
Work Schedule:
- Full-time with a mix of weekdays and weekends.
- Flexibility is preferred; you will be scheduled for regular shifts.
