Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Laundromat Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our laundromat. The manager will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision & Scheduling
- Create and manage weekly employee schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
- Oversee and support staff in daily responsibilities.
- Provide training and coaching to new and existing employees.
Inventory Management
- Monitor supply levels (detergents, parts, paper products, etc.) and place orders as needed.
- Track usage and ensure inventory is organized and well-stocked.
Customer Relations
- Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful presence on-site to foster a positive customer experience.
Facility Cleanliness & Maintenance
- Ensure the laundromat is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Conduct routine checks of washers, dryers, and other equipment to identify issues early.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs as needed.
Operational Oversight
- Monitor daily operations and implement improvements for efficiency.
- Handle basic administrative duties, including reporting and supply receipts.
- Enforce company policies and uphold a high standard of service.
Qualifications:
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with scheduling tools or POS systems.
- Preferred English and Spanish fluency
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position including weekends as needed.
- Flexibility required to respond to occasional emergencies or equipment issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
