Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assisting with their laundry needs and providing excellent customer service
- Operate laundry machines, dryers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat area, including washing stations, folding areas, and surrounding spaces
- Handle cash transactions accurately using cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Monitor equipment for proper functioning; perform minor troubleshooting or report maintenance issues promptly
- Restock supplies such as detergent, fabric softener, and change for machines as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for customers and staff
- Handle drop off orders for customers, wash, dry, and fold clothes
Experience
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently and efficiently
- Experience in cashiering or handling cash transactions is advantageous
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred Spanish speaking
