Position Overview
The Spanish Teacher will teach weekly Spanish lessons to children across our Early Childhood, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary programs (ages 3–12). This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, enjoys creative lesson planning, and values a calm, respectful learning environment.
Job Description
- Teach developmentally appropriate Spanish lessons to mixed‑age groups
- Introduce vocabulary, conversation, songs, stories, and cultural traditions
- Create hands‑on, joyful activities that support natural language acquisition
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross‑curricular learning
- Maintain a peaceful, encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Communicate with school leadership as needed
- Model Montessori values of respect, independence, and curiosity
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Spanish to children or working in a school setting
- Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills in English
