Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our aquatics staff. In this vital role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as, therapeutic exercises, and manual therapy to promote healing and mobility.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches under supervision to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and discharge planning procedures.
- Support patients across various populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, & orthopedics,
- Maintain accurate medical terminology records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, facilitate smooth transitions between care settings, and support discharge planning efforts.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
Pay: $30.87 - $37.17 per hour
