What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Services Coordinator position at Wasatch Group?

SUMMARY:
This at-will position is responsible for surveying the day-to-day operations of the on-site Serenity Market convenience store, assisting with the resident services team on creating an environment of excellence for our residents, overseeing clubhouse spaces and reservations, and directing the Soleil Suites Airbnb program. This individual will work as part of the Resident Services Team in conjunction with the Resident Services Coordinator and will serve as after-hours support for full-time residents and short-term guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serenity Market, Clubhouse, and Concierge Duties
  • Conducts building walk throughs to ensure that guest/residents are using the amenity space correctly and following rules and regulations
  • Coordinates clubhouse reservations in the absence of Resident Services Coordinator (RSC), monitors after-hours reservations, and reports any issues to RSC that occur during reservations
  • Manages all aspects of the Serenity Market by controlling inventory, discard and record expired items, ensure products are priced correctly
  • Builds an extensive knowledge base of local area restaurants, shops, attractions, transportation options, and airports
  • Maintains inventory and stock of supplies, brochures, and collateral for concierge desks
  • Checks packages in and out for residents in a timely manner.
  • Airbnb Program Duties
  • Provides pre-arrival support for guests arriving
  • Facilitates correspondence with guests/residents
  • Prints and delivers correspondence and check in gifts to the guests’ rooms prior to arrival
  • Monitoring Airbnb inquiries, check in/check out, updating reservation board so the housekeepers know what to clean
  • Enters and removes guests from the dwelo smart home system for check in/check out
  • Conducts apartment walk through prior to check in to ensure that it is ready and up to standards
  • Resident Services Duties
  • Provides outstanding customer service to all guests/residents
  • Assists guests and residents in proactive and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up, as necessary
  • Knows all essential aspects of our community operations
  • Maintains a positive and professional relationship with all guest/residents, vendors, and merchants
  • Supports the marketing and sales department with administrative tasks
  • Works collaboratively with any community associates
  • Assisting with retention including coordinating and participating in resident events
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • At least 2 years in Residential Leasing/Sales with proven track record in Property Management.
  • Excellent sales, customer service and public relations skills.
  • Ability to drive others toward maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Must be able to relate to people and have a sales aptitude.
  • Must have a professional manner and positive attitude.
  • Must have outgoing personality and ability to promote property at local businesses, functions, and within community.
  • Must be articulate in sales manners and customer service satisfaction.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding ability to influence others, aggressive closing ability, and follow through meet prospects’ needs.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred in some markets.
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma required

The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 45 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity of environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, etc and walking up to 5 miles for the entire shift.
