What You'll Do As a Care Team Assistant
- Welcome clients and families while providing exceptional customer service.
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule appointments, register new clients, and assist with intake processes.
- Process payments, assist with insurance authorizations, and answer billing questions.
- Maintain accurate client charts, electronic records, and program documentation.
- Coordinate communication between families, clinicians, school partners, and insurance providers.
- Complete administrative tasks that support the daily operations of the GIANT Steps program.
- Help create a welcoming, organized, and family-centered environment for children receiving autism services.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least six months of clerical, receptionist, administrative, or secretarial experience.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, family-centered approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn electronic health record systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.
