This part-time position offers a competitive wage of $21.15–$26.8/hour and provides an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of quality behavioral health services across our organization. In this role, you will assist our full-time Credentialing Specialist with provider enrollment and credentialing for Medicaid, NPI registration and maintenance, and select private insurance networks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will also support funding coordination processes, maintain accurate provider records and databases, and collaborate with providers, managers, and internal teams to help ensure timely credentialing and reimbursement for services.
Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $21.15–$26.81 DOE and Education

What You'll Do a Credentialing Specialist
- Assist with provider enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing for Medicaid, NPI, and select private insurance networks.
- Review and process credentialing applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Verify provider licenses, certifications, NPI numbers, and other credentialing documentation through primary source verification.
- Create, maintain, and audit provider credentialing files and databases to ensure current and accurate records.
- Track application statuses and follow up with providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to meet credentialing deadlines.

Support funding coordination activities by helping maintain client out of pocket costs and insurance and/or Medicaid eligibility.

Update provider information within electronic medical records and other internal systems as licenses, certifications, or credentials change.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (bachelor's degree preferred).
- Experience in administrative support, healthcare credentialing, billing, insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
