Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently, ensuring correct change and transaction records.
- Prepare and serve food items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas, counters, and kitchen stations, adhering to sanitation regulations.
- Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food preparation or bussing tables during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong food handling knowledge along with understanding of food safety management practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations, giving correct change, and managing sales transactions.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers, team members, and management.
