About the Role
Wasabi Waukee is looking for an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our service team and oversee daily restaurant operations.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You’ll lead by example, support your team during busy shifts, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and builds a strong, positive team.
Responsibilities
- Lead all front-of-house operations and daily service
- Hire, train, coach, and develop team members
- Create weekly schedules and manage labor costs
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and professionally resolve customer concerns
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and service
- Oversee bar operations, inventory, and ordering
- Work closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching and accountability
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health department regulations
- Step into any front-of-house position when needed and lead by example
Qualifications
- 2 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with hiring, scheduling, training, and team development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
