Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and thoroughly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service.
- Help keep the kitchen environment organized by following proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Follow health and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe workspace.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
