Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen staff member. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, support overall kitchen operations (including prep, customer service, cleaning duties, washing dishes, and closing restaurant.) We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, delivering efficient, top-tier service to our customers. who is comfortable multitasking without compromising service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces
- Operate kitchen equipment under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, culinary environment, or food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as a cook, banquet server, or bussing in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
